The Schawlow jewelry box is a testament to the beauty and durability of silver. By capturing the essence of the heated liquefying process, the designers have created a packaging that is both gentle and indestructible. The flowing sense of the raw material silver is restored in the form of this exquisite jewelry decoration box.

What sets the Schawlow jewelry box apart is its unique packaging for different categories of jewelry. Whether it's a ring, bracelet, or necklace, each package showcases a different state of the silver during its melting process. The necklace packaging box represents the moment when the silver block is melted to a mass, while the bracelet packaging box captures the flowing downward motion of the liquid silver. Lastly, the ring packaging box symbolizes the continuous increase in temperature, resulting in the generation of water droplets when the liquid collides.

The design of the Schawlow jewelry box presented several challenges. The first was breaking away from the traditional jewelry box shape and creating a unique landmark. To overcome this, the designers opted for a special-shaped box made of plastic, which allowed for greater flexibility in design. The second challenge was maintaining the integrity of the structure while ensuring the box could be easily opened. Extensive testing using 3D printing technology was conducted to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

The Schawlow jewelry box was developed by Liu Wen and the Oracle Creative Design Co. Ltd. The project began in July 2017 and was completed in Shenzhen, China, in January 2018. The design team, including Xie Chen Lu and Liu Wen Design Studio, played a crucial role in bringing this unique packaging to life.

Recognized for its exceptional design, the Schawlow jewelry box was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2018.
